The marketing site may set first-party analytics cookies after you accept. They are written for this host only and are not sent to the tenant portal, the API, or the verification capture page. They store a visitor identifier assigned by Google Analytics. Accepting this banner is what lets a later signup on the tenant portal be joined to that visit. There is no second analytics box on the signup form. Accepting also lets us see which of our ads led to a signup or a payment. Nothing is used to personalise ads.
